Niamh Murphy

Niamh is an award winning communications and event management innovator with more than 13 years’ experience. Her clients include Kilkenny Shop, Musgrave, Croke Park, M&P O Sullivan, Clonakilty Food Company, The Nightmare Realm, Cork Fashion Week and the IHF Cork. Prior to setting up ETC Niamh worked in senior management and director level roles with large agencies in Dublin and Cork, running marketing campaigns and events for some of Ireland's top companies, including Musgrave Group, Kerry Foods, numerous hotels, Discover Ireland/ Fáilte Ireland, Tyndall National Institute, UCC, RTÉ, and local authorities. She also managed many high profile events such as the Irish Open, National Digital Week, Lusitania100, Titanic100 and the Cork St Patrick’s Festival.
Niamh began her career with Bance Nolan PR in Waterford, and also spent a number of years as Michael Flatley's international publicist, events manager and right hand woman/PA.
She is on the board of the Cork Business Association and is Chairman of their Tourism, Communications & Social group. She is also on the board of Cork Cancer Research Centre, and is a business mentor with Cork City Enterprise Board.
Niamh is also the new Editor of Go Wild Magazine (on the Wild Atlantic Way), Cork Ancient East (on Ireland’s Ancient East) and Cork Connected, the Cork Business Association’s quarterly newsletter.

Damien O’Mahony

Damien is a strategist who has vast experience in tourism development, communications and public sector management. His clients include the ISU Space Conference, TG4, Port of Cork and Musgrave. Prior to establishing ETC Damien worked at the Tourism, Events, Arts and Marketing (T.E.A.M.) in Cork City Council where he created and implemented Cork city's first tourism strategy.
He is a Director of Cork Convention Bureau and has long established relationships with all major stakeholders in the tourism and communications sectors including Cork Chamber of Commerce, Fáilte Ireland and the hospitality industry.
From 2001 to 2005 Damien was Cork City Council's first Director of Communications and he developed the Council's first Communications Strategy. He has managed a considerable range of diverse events from the communications aspects of Cork's year as European Capital of Culture in 2005 to HM Queen Elizabeth's visit to Cork in 2011 and has been involved in the development and growth of annual festivals such as the St Patrick's Festival and Glow, Cork’s annual Christmas festival.
He has also led promotional delegations on behalf of Cork to Shanghai, Bordeaux, Edinburgh and London, to name but a few.
Damien holds a Master’s Degree in Law from University College Cork where he lectured for many years with the Law Faculty and the Department of Government. Damien is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Louise is a graduate of University College Cork where she undertook a BA in English and History before discovering her passion for PR while undertaking a Master's degree in Management and Marketing, also in UCC. After working in a marketing agency in Cork, where she cut her teeth working on national and international campaigns like Lusitania 100, she sought out fresh challenges in New York working in the fast paced world of Tech PR. While there she gained a valuable international perspective and worked with some of the tech industry's most cutting edge start-ups. Louise joined the team at ETC in August 2016 and works on a wide variety of clients including the Cork International Choral Festival, Kilkenny Group, Croke Park and The Nightmare Realm.

Dee’s background in PR and Digital Marketing led her to a career in social media. Dee specializes in content creation and is always researching new market trends for clients. A graduate of University College Cork's Management and Marketing Master's degree programme, Dee worked with Marketing and Social Media agencies in Cork before joining the team at ETC on a part-time basis to manage social media for our clients, She has worked on dozens of national and international campaigns and is also an in-house marketing manager for one of Cork's premier venues.Â

Sonny Kennedy

Junior Marketing Executive

Sonny undertook a Bachelor of Arts degree in UCC in 2012, graduating three years later with a joints honours degree in English & Geography. During this time Sonny also worked in the Language Centre UCC with International students as both an administrative assistant and social programme coordinator visiting Corks premier tourist attractions and activities every summer as part of the Centres popular International Summer School Programme. Following on from his degree, Sonny took a year out to work, splitting his time and efforts between the Language Centre and Bruce College Cork.
In August of 2016, Sonny enrolled in the MSc in Management & Marketing in UCC with a focus on marketing from which he is currently with ETC as part of his placement. From both his personal and professional experience Sonny has a deep interest in history, heritage and tourism and indeed the marketing of such.Â
