Before moving into the marketing and communications industry a number of years ago, Maria had a successful career as a news and features journalist with newspapers, online, and magazine publications north and south of the border.

She spent 10 years as a senior news and features writer with the Evening Echo, where she won a number of awards.  Following her departure from full-time journalism, Maria worked with a creative consultancy and also in a communications role with Rowing Ireland at the National Rowing Centre.

She brings a wealth of media experience to ETC and her excellent communication, story-telling and people skills are an invaluable asset to our team.  Maria is also co-founder of Visual Newsdesk, a live events graphic recording service now offered to ETC clients.

Did you know? Maria lives in the countryside and is the proud mum of two wellie wearing little girls!
